One Month of Blogging

I’ve been blogging for a month now and I am obsessed! I mean OBSESSED. WordPress might be my new favorite app. I love when I hear the WP notification and see multiple badges waiting to be opened. Now, I haven’t had a ton of success but when I receive a least one “like” or view a day, I feel accomplished because I know I have a long way to go. I am excited for this journey!

I never knew how much a really enjoyed writing and creating content until I signed up for WordPress and decided to get my name and face out there. My daily inspiration comes from my everyday life or just simply stepping out for fresh air. I’m by no means an expert of anything in particular but I love to inspire and give my personal rendition of things in everyday life.

Before I began to blog, I researched like crazy what it takes to be successful in blogging. Not every persons story is the same but I learned that it take consistency to stay in the blogging game.

So far, my biggest challenge in blogging has been posting more and creating captivating images. My current work schedule doesn’t allow the freedom I once had so it is a little harder to find time to do a lot of things I once done and new things (blog) I’ve started. I’ve noticed a difference in having a consistent posting schedule and the positive outcomes of views, likes, etc. Another blogging difficulty I have is capturing aesthetically pleasing images and (Pinterest posts). Taking photos is not my forte and in my research having decent photos to contribute to your blog is important.

Blogging has become one of my favorite things I’ve started in a long time. I’m happy that I have a creative outlet to express myself and share the things that I love with the world.

  1. It’s awesome that you’re enjoying this journey. I can barely keep up with my weekly schedule, and here you are posting so much within this month alone. You’re doing great work here, as the topics you post look amazing.

Regarding the pics, if you haven’t heard of it already, the website Unsplash.com is a great place to get non-stock-looking stock photos. Anyway, wishing you the best for the rest of your time here!
